This is honestly one of the best experience I've ever been on. Kyle is a brilliant and down to earth guy who made the experience awesome for us. The skiing was so much fun and really easy to pick up. The lake and all the woodlands were beautiful and we really enjoyed the whole experience. If you are going to Rovaniemi you need to go onto this tour.

Can't really summarize how amazing this tour was and I feel so lucky that we chanced upon Arctic Fox Expeditions by pure luck!
Our guide Kyle was absolutely wonderful and it was clear he cared deeply, both about the experience for his clients and the beautiful landscapes he guided us through. The trip was just stunning and we were treated with so much history, anecdotes and insider knowledge along the way ( and plenty drinks and snacks too) I couldn't recommend this tour enough. Amazing Aurora Hunting Night - from start from the beautiful Hotel Vartiosaari to return a few hours later. We were a "group" of just two people with our guide and host Kyle, which made the trip very private and special. After a short 25 min drive we arrived at his property at Norvajärvi, a picturesque frozen lake with a perfect view to the north. We were lucky to see beautiful northern lights right after arrival. With up to -26°C we could warm up by the fire inside a small tipi. While enjoying hot blueberry juice and traditional reindeer sausages we had the chance to ask everything we wanted about Finland, it's history, culture and people and learned lots of fun facts. Despite the aggravating (cold) conditions we had a perfect Lapland night and can fully recommend booking Kyle as a guide instead of joining big groups in tourist buses from conventional travel providers. Thanks again Kyle for this magic Aurora moments 🙂

I had a fantastic time visiting the northern lights for the first time! This is something I have dreamed of doing since I was little and can finally say I’ve crossed off my bucket list.
Thank you to Kyle for being the best guide with so much rich knowledge on the country and it’s cultural history.
The BBQ reindeer sausage was delicious and had so much fun roasting it myself over the fire. Hot blueberry juice was very nice and sweet and is just what you need to warm your hands up.

Our first visit to Lapland. We wanted to experience the nature, learn about the history and stay away from the large tour operators. We were lucky to meet Kyle. He customized a perfect tour matching our wishes. He invited us to hiking through his family’s land on “snow skis”. He was the perfect host. We got an authentic experience, were treated hot blueberry juice, Finnish chocolate with licorice and reindeer sausage, while entertained with a lot of Finnish history. He even did a drone video of our trip. We had a fantastic tour and our highest recommendations to Kyle, if you want to experience Finland off the beaten tourist track.

This was one of the most wonderful experiences of our lives!
An amazing ride next to the Norvajärvi lake to see the northern lights listening to incredible stories about Finnish people and history.
We tried for the first time reindeer sausages (typical finnish food) with a special mustard. It was good!
